Introduction to ENBE, Elements of Nature and Built Environments

Enbe is a module that introduces the positive ways of using nature without destroying it and the different types of building techniques to the basic materials needed to construct whether it is a building or just a simple bench. Students will get exposed to built environments by attending field trips to forest areas and even a day trip to the city, Kuala Lumpur.

The students are required to observe, collect critical information, put information together, and deliver presentations. Observing and collecting information are the most important skills needed by a student in order to proceed on his or her project. Tutors evaluate your work by analysing the critical information provided. The presentation part comes secondary. Nevertheless, it is still a vital skill to be mastered by students.

Students will also be taught to communicate through drawings instead of words, this is known as info-graphic manner. Lesser the words, the better it is but it has to include important and useful information in short sentences. It is basically an introduction to the architecture field.

In conclusion, students will be exposed to natural topography, landscape, spaces and building environments. This is definitely the first step needed to explore into the architecture world.

It's how you look at it, whether just greenery or life.
